Minimal Water Loss

Sub-surface irrigation means no water loss from spray drifting onto paths or into the air where it is lost through evaporation.

No matter what shape or slope your yard is, sub-surface irrigation will water your lawn with virtually no wasteage. Even narrow or tricky shapes will be well irrigated.

Sub-surface irrigation is also better suited for steep slopes as there is no risk of run-off or soil erosion.

What can happen when you spray irrigate?

  1. Water loss through wind drift, run off, misting and evaporation
  2. Even distribution of water is difficult - water may pond in hollows and run off on slopes
  3. Spray irrigation on steep slopes can cause soil erosion and run-off, and is more likely to result in uneven distribution
I can have a big bath without feeling any guilt, because I know that when I pull the plug I am watering my lawns.
