Approved to treat food waste from your kitchen sink
Without fuss or mess – the BioPod treats macerated food scraps such as fruit and vegetables - in fact the worms love it. For your peace of mind, the BioPod has been verified independently to work well with an In-Sink-Erator. There's no need to be throwing out those valuable resources, or composting yourself. The BioPod also loves liquids, such as milk.

Mechanically aerated systems and sandfilters – not approved for food waste
No other secondary treatment system, that we know of, has been tested or approved to Australian standards with the addition of food waste.
We built an environmentally-friendly rammed earth home and wanted an environmentally friendly system so that we could be responsible for our own human waste, grey water and food waste. We have an in-sinkerator in the kitchen, which we put fruit and vegetable scraps down. It goes directly into the Biolytix System and makes the island bench top easy to keep clean. All our water, human waste, grey water and household fruit and vegetable waste all gets recycled via the Biolytix System and contributes to our lush gardens. We would highly recommend the Biolytix system any time.
