Odourless
The BioPod does not have a smelly, anaerobic septic stage. As soon as the sewage enters the BioPod, the solid waste is separated out from the liquids and the organisms quickly convert it into aerobic humus. Humus is an excellent odour absorber and ensures that the system operates without odour.
The BioPod is robust - it doesn't fail or smell when:
Organics, such as milk, are put down the sink
Heavy loading - the BioPod’s buffer storage volume copes with peak loads without damage to the system
You go away on holiday - the ecosystem in the BioPod adapts to the changed conditions and replenishes itself when you return
Septic tanks are vulnerable to smell
Septic tanks are primarily anaerobic and can smell when you least want them to - when they have a lot of use at the family bbq.
There is absolutely no odour, my wife who has a sensitive stomach has had her head above the tank when opened without a problem! Our native rainforest loves it to!
