No routine pumpouts

The BioPod does not have a septic stage as the solids in the sewage are separated out of the wastewater and quickly converted directly into humus. This means there is no septic sludge to dispose of.  Anyone who has had a septic pumpout performed will know that this can be a noisy and smelly process.  With Biolytix, it can be avoided.

Aerated, septic and sandfilter systems all create sludge

Each of these systems has a septic stage - which creates sludge. This means they need to be periodically desludged, at your cost. For example, septic tanks should be de-sludged every 3-5 years. This sludge is often an environmental hazard - it needs to be pumped, transported and treated or disposed of.  The problem doesn't finish there - the waste has to be dumped somewhere and presents an environmental hazard.

I am happy to recommend the Biolytix Waste Treatment System. Prior to converting to Biolytix, we had a septic tank and grease trap to deal with the waste. The odours from the septic and grease trap were very unpleasant and the maintenance was costly and ongoing. Since having the Biolytix system installed, all odours have been eliminated and our garden is flourishing on the filtered waste water!
